Think of this card as the house rules for Cardamomkeep. It covers how buying a printed cookbook stand from us works, what each side can expect, and what happens if something goes sideways. Plain language wherever we could manage it.

1Who you are dealing with

This website and shop belong to WINGLUNG TECHNOLOGY HONGKONG CO., LIMITED, which trades under the Cardamomkeep name. When these terms say "Cardamomkeep", "we", "our" or "us", they mean that company. Its registered address is:

Anything unclear on this card can be sent to info@cardamomkeep.com; our customer service email is available 24/7. By browsing the site or placing an order you agree to these terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy and Refund Policy, which are part of the same agreement.

2Who can order

Orders can be placed by anyone aged 18 or over, or who has reached the age of majority in their home state or country, and who is able to enter a binding contract. Younger visitors are welcome to browse; a parent or guardian should handle the checkout.

3Checking out as a guest

We don't run customer accounts. Every order goes through guest checkout, so you'll only be asked for what the order needs: your name, delivery address, email and payment details. Please make sure they are correct, because we ship to the address you enter.

4The stands and their artwork

Each Cardamomkeep stand is a folding bamboo cookbook and tablet stand with one of our original designs printed on the front panel. We photograph every design with care, but monitors and phones all render colour a little differently, so the print in your kitchen may look slightly warmer, cooler or softer than on screen. Bamboo is a natural material: grain, tone and small marks vary from stand to stand, and that is part of its character rather than a fault. If something important is genuinely different from how we described it, our Refund Policy covers you.

5Prices and payment

All prices are in US dollars. A Cardamomkeep stand currently costs $39.99. Shipping is added at checkout at a $7.99 flat rate, and it is free when your order reaches $100 or more. Any customs duties or import taxes charged by the destination country are paid by the recipient. Prices can change from time to time, though you always pay the price shown when you placed your order. If an item is ever listed at a clearly mistaken price, we will let you know before it ships and you can cancel for a full refund.

Payment is taken at checkout through Shopify's secure payment system. Your card details go directly to the payment processor and are never visible to us. We may decline or cancel an order if a payment cannot be verified.

6When the contract is formed

Placing an order is an offer to buy. Our order confirmation email acknowledges it; the contract is formed when we send the email telling you the stand has shipped. Until then we may decline or cancel an order, for instance if a design is unexpectedly out of stock, a payment is flagged for review, or the order looks like a bulk purchase for resale. If we cancel after you've paid, you get the full amount back on your original payment method.

7Changing or cancelling an order

Plans change. Email us as soon as you can with your order number: if the stand hasn't left us yet, we'll update the address, swap the design or cancel it for you. Once it has shipped, the Refund Policy takes over.

8Shipping and risk

Delivery options and timings are set out on our Shipping Policy. Ownership and the risk of loss pass to you once the parcel has been delivered to the address you provided. If a tracked parcel goes missing in transit, we will work with the carrier and replace or refund it.

9Returns

You may return a stand within 30 days of delivery. The steps are on our Refund Policy: please email us first, and we will send the return instructions for our registered company address. Nothing in these terms reduces any rights you already have under the consumer law where you live.

10Sensible use

Our stands are made to hold cookbooks, tablets, e-readers and printed recipes on a kitchen counter or table. Please set the stand on a flat, stable surface, keep it away from open flames, hot pans and burners, and don't use it to hold heavy items it wasn't designed for. Bamboo does not like being soaked, so follow the care notes on our Size Guide.

11Our designs and site content

Every design on a Cardamomkeep stand is original artwork owned by or licensed to us. The same goes for our photographs, product text, logo and the look of this website. You're welcome to share links and photos of your own stand in use. Copying our artwork, reproducing it on other products or using our images to sell anything else needs our written permission first.

12Reviews, photos and messages you send us

If you send us a review, a photo of your stand or a note about a recipe, you confirm it is yours to share and you give us a free, non-exclusive right to show it on our site and social channels, always with the credit you prefer. Please keep it kind and lawful: we may choose not to publish anything abusive, misleading or off topic.

13Acceptable use of the site

Please don't try to break, overload, scrape or gain unauthorised access to this site, place orders with someone else's payment details, or use it for anything unlawful. We may block access for anyone who does.

14Links to other services

Some pages link to services run by other businesses, such as payment providers and parcel trackers. We don't control them and aren't responsible for their content or practices, so their own terms and privacy notices apply.

15Limits on our liability

We stand behind what we sell, and nothing here limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Beyond that, our total liability for any order is capped at the amount you paid for it. We aren't liable for indirect or unforeseeable losses, or for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as severe weather, carrier disruption, strikes or outages.

16Indemnity

If you break these terms or misuse the site and a third party brings a claim against us as a result, you agree to cover the reasonable costs we incur in dealing with it.

17If a part of this card fails

Should a court find any clause here unenforceable, the rest continues to apply. If we don't enforce a clause straight away, we haven't given up the right to rely on it later.

18Updates to these terms

We revise this card when our shop or the law changes, and the date at the top always shows the latest version. The terms in force when you placed an order are the ones that apply to that order.

19Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong SAR. If a disagreement comes up, please email us first; most things are sorted out quickly that way. Where that doesn't work, the courts of Hong Kong SAR have jurisdiction, without affecting any right you have to bring a claim in the courts where you live.
